International Festival of Glass 2019
Stourbridge Glass Quarter hosts the biennial International Festival of Glass on 23, 24, 25 and 26 August 2019 and my studio/gallery is slap bang in the middle of the August Bank Holiday weekend’s activities. The Red House Glass Cone is one of the main venues for the event which this year has a family friendly focus.
‘Placemaking’ is the theme of the festival with an invitation to reflect on how people make places and places make people, celebrating this theme through science, art and imagination.
The Red House Glass Cone has a busy weekend of activities including a Black Country Tapas evening and an Abba tribute band! There will be licensed bars and food.
