Description
Using Indian ink with a touch of charcoal and with inspiration from Constable’s ‘The Cornfield’ I have created this artwork with an environmental message.
“John Constable’s masterpiece, painted in 1826 is a beautiful, lush countryside scene that depicts a young shepherd boy drinking from a pool in the heat of summer.
In my work I was inspired to introduce and highlight current environmental issues and the sad nature of what is happening in our countryside today.”
